I am a guest scientist in the group and a Humboldt Fellow at the Technical University of Berlin. I did my PhD at Imperial College (London, UK), was a postdoc at Oxford University and the Perimeter Institute (Waterloo, Canada) and held an assistant professorship in Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Mexico).

I have worked on a number of topics within theoretical physics, such as fundamental quantum mechanics, quantum information, quantum optics, gravity and astrophysics. In March 2009, I will move to England on a EPSRC Fellowship to study how relativistic effects can be exploited to improve quantum information tasks.
