Inhaltliches

Modul-Handbuch (QO I und QO II)

The module provides an introduction into the concepts and methods of quantum optics. Subjects covered include a review of matter-light interaction, free field quantization, states of the radiation field (Fock, coherent, squeezed, thermal), quantum theory of passive optical elements, Jaynes-Cummings model, quantum theory of square-law detection (Glauber photodetector), Master equation, quantum theory of natural line width, Fokker-Planck equation, quantum theory of lasing, concepts of quantum information.

KomVV (SS)

Laufende Forschungsprojekte.
